Wer wir sind
Wir sind 14 Fotografinnen aus verschiedenen Ländern und mit unterschiedlichen Hintergründen, aber wir haben alle etwas gemeinsam:
Wir fühlen uns hilflos und machtlos angesichts des unermesslich großen Unheils, das den Menschen in Gaza angetan wird.
Und wir weigern uns, tatenlos zuzusehen, wie Kinder, Frauen und Männer gezielt ausgehungert werden, von Israel und seinen Verbündeten, zu denen auch unsere eigenen Regierungen gehören.
Deshalb verkaufen wir einige unserer Arbeiten, um mit dem Erlös wenigstens ein wenig zu helfen.
Die meisten Menschen in Gaza sind akut vom Hungertod bedroht. Gleichzeitig stehen an der Grenze Tausende von LKWs mit Nahrungsmitteln und werden nicht hinein gelassen.
Aber es gibt Wege, Lebensmittel und Trinkwasser zu den Menschen zu bringen, kleinere Initiativen vor Ort organisieren sie. Diese möchten wir mit dem Erlös dieser Aktion unterstützen.

About us
We are 14 photographers from different countries and backgrounds, but we share something essential:
We feel helpless in the face of the immense suffering being inflicted on the people of Gaza.
And we refuse to watch in silence as children, women, and men are deliberately starved by Israel and its allies, including our own governments.
That’s why we’ve decided to sell some of our work, to offer at least a small form of support.
Most people in Gaza are on the brink of starvation. Meanwhile, thousands of trucks filled with food are waiting at the border, blocked from entering.
Still, there are grassroots efforts managing to bring food and clean water to the people. It’s these local initiatives we want to support through the proceeds of this project.

The Sameer Project wird von Palästinensern in der Diaspora organisiert, die mit Grassroots-Organisation in Gaza zusammenarbeiten, die vor Ort Lebensmittel, Medikamente und Wasser verteilen.
How it works
The sale starts on July 26 and ends on August 3.
Starting August 8, we will ship the prints.
Where does the money go?
100% of the proceeds (minus printing and shipping costs) will go to the Sameer Project.
The Sameer Project is organized by Palestinians in the diaspora who work with grassroots organizations in Gaza that distribute food, medicine, and water on the ground.

Message from the Sameer Project
July, 21
The Sameer Project has been forced to stop food distributions that feed entire encampments and community kitchens that feed thousands, because we cannot find food or ingredients. We usually feed tens of thousands of people per week, now we can only find limited amounts of nutritional packets and some vegetables in the markets. When we do, this supply goes to the sickest patients in hospitals to keep them alive, and we will continue to do this.
We are still able to supply water and we are still able to buy tents and provide medication. But soon this will not matter when people are dropping in the streets.
🚨Get LOUD.
🚨Protest.
🚨Disrupt.
🚨Continue to give so we can assist how we are still able to.
Everyone in Gaza, their lives, quite literally depend on this. They depend on YOU. The Sameer Project will continue to do all we can, with your help, but soon this will be the end. Unless immediate action is taken. Unless the world stops Israel from starving every man, woman, child, the elderly, the disabled, the sick, in Gaza.
